Service Description: The layer includes buildings footprints for primary structures on lands at generally less than 10 feet ground elevation, which are areas that may be most vulnerable to coastal inundation. Critical facilities were identified using USGS National Structures Dataset. Also included is a polygon depicting areas of Virginia that were not included in the analyses. These are lands generally higher than 10 feet in elevation and/or not contiguous with the Chesapeake Bay or Atlantic Ocean.
